Well, well… Winner winner, chicken dinner! David won our annual watermelon seed spitting contest! Congratulations David! Hope you enjoy that gift certificate to our gift shop 😊 you earned it! I wasn’t able to be there this year as I’m laid up in bed with a herniated disc, but I was with y’all in spirit! Looks like from the pictures Miranda sent me that everyone had a blast! 😁 hopefully I’ll be back soon for many shenanigans with my favorite people! lol Miranda, Millie, and Laurel keep holding down the fort and making sure our residents have fun!! ❤️

We’ve been having a ball these last couple months. 😁 Done everything from socials, dancing, cooking club, Arts and crafts, balloon Valley, and about a half dozen others!

One activity that we haven’t been able to do this summer is a good old-fashioned corn shucking and a bean snapping. If there is anyone that needs their corn shucked or their beans snapped, We will be so appreciative. They love to do productive activities and of course it’s nostalgic for them. If you are able to help with this, please contact me via text or phone at 434-294-2265. 😊
