🍉 Happy National Watermelon Day!🍉

Is there anything more perfectly summer than a big, juicy slice of watermelon?!😋We think NOT! 😂 And here at CTS, we love watermelon almost as much as we love watching our kiddos thrive!

Fun therapy fact: Did you know that eating watermelon is actually GREAT for little ones in more ways than one?!

🍉 The juicy texture is perfect for oral motor exploration
🍉 Describing it builds amazing vocabulary — “sweet,” “juicy,” “cold,” “pink!”
🍉 Holding a slice works those fine motor skills
🍉 The seeds? Perfect for sorting, counting, and sensory play!
