Happy 4th of July weekend! There are lots of family friendly activities to do in Burleson and surrounding areas this Saturday. Burleson is going to have an Independence Day Parade in Old Town Burleson starting at 9am. There will also be a fireworks show at the Chisenhall Fields baseball park starting at 9:20pm. In Fort Worth there will be a celebration at the Panther Island Pavilion. There will also be a celebration in Crowley, but not until the 11th of July. You can find out more information for each of these celebrations on the corresponding cities websites. Everyone stay safe and have a wonderful Weekend!

Today is Memorial Day. On this day we honor all of the United States military men and women that have lost their lives protecting our country. This company is so incredibly grateful for each and every person that has fought for our freedom. Happy Earth Day everyone! It’s a great day to have a loved one help with planting at their home or within their community. You could even help them start a recycling bin or a compost pile. Activities such as these can help with their physical and mental health, social interaction and emotional well-being. When someone isn’t able to live their life the same as they could before, having a sense of purpose can help lighten their spirits.
These activities not only help our earth, but also your loved one. Don’t forget to use an assistive device as needed. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful day!
