🍂 COLDER WEATHER IS COMING… TIME TO MAKE YOUR OWN NATURAL “VICKS”! 🌿
As the temperatures start to drop and cold & flu season approaches, this mullein-infused chest rub is a wonderful homemade addition to your natural-remedy cabinet. 💚
Think of it as a DIY, plant-based version of a traditional v***r rub—with the added goodness of mullein-infused oil!
🌿 Mullein – traditionally used in herbal preparations for respiratory support
🌿 Eucalyptus essential oil – gives that familiar cooling, aromatic v***r-rub feeling
🌿 Peppermint essential oil – adds a refreshing, cooling sensation
🌿 Camphor essential oil – traditionally used in topical chest rubs for its strong aromatic and cooling qualities
🧈 Beeswax – gives the rub its soothing, spreadable consistency

Ingredients:
½ cup mullein-infused oil
2 Tbsp beeswax
30 drops eucalyptus essential oil
20 drops peppermint essential oil
10 drops camphor essential oil
Directions:
Melt the mullein oil and beeswax together in a double boiler. Once melted, remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly. Stir in the essential oils, pour into clean jars, and let solidify.
Apply a small amount to the chest, upper back, or feet as desired.
🍁 I love making things like this before winter hits because once everyone starts feeling under the weather, it's nice to already have your herbal goodies ready to go!
⚠️ A little safety reminder: Essential oils are concentrated. This is for external use only, avoid the eyes and mucous membranes, and keep it away from children and pets. Camphor can be toxic if swallowed and should be used with particular caution around children.

Would you make this for your winter herbal cabinet? 🌿🍂
