This week has been filled with some fun days here at Oak Creek. Thursday, we welcomed the Pelican’s Snoballs’ crew for a delicious frozen treat. Friday, we headed to Belews Creek to eat a delicious dinner at Hillbilly Hideaway. We ended our evening with a beautiful double rainbow stretching over our campus. We are so thankful for the memories made!

We know how to have fun around here! When Wacky Tacky day is on the calendar, these residents know how to celebrate. From Christmas shirts in June, to mismatched shoes and socks, people showed up dressed to impress.

The Oak Creek Crew had a wonderful time meeting up with Sharon Village Apartments for a day at Childress Winery, in Lexington, NC. We enjoyed a fantastic meal at the Bistro before heading to check out the vineyards and sample their award-winning wine. The slushies were amazing, the scenery was beautiful, and the truffles were some of the best we've ever tasted. It was so nice to sit and relax on the porch and take in the scenery. We can't wait to head back to try their seasonal wines and desserts.

"Mia sin froai!" (We are happy!) Pennsylvania has been the perfect destination for a getaway with friends from near and far. Over the past couple of days, we've enjoyed extraordinary experiences, outstanding food, and each other's wonderful company. We're looking forward to seeing what tomorrow has in store.

Ho! Ho! Ho! and Merry Christmas from everyone at Oak Creek. We all are so grateful that Santa took time out of his busy schedule the week before Christmas to come visit our community during our Country Breakfast. We hope we all have ended up on the nice list this year!
