With two locations, the families we serve have the privilege of selecting either our new, state-of-the-art facility with unlimited parking, community room and on-site crematory on Division Street or our classic, beloved downtown facility nestled between churches. Our location at 3940 Division Street offers a parking lot large enough to accommodate those in attendance, a community room for luncheons, a chapel that can comfortably seat 400, and all the little details that make your funeral home comfortable and accessible. Our crematory is the area’s only on-site crematory and is operated by licensed funeral directors. With the facility located on the premises, it allows us to do everything possible to maintain complete control of the cremation service and process. Our location at 317 North 4th Street in beautiful downtown Burlington, has a long tradition of funeral service. Established in 1852, by Isaac Prugh, it is the oldest family owned and operated funeral service in Iowa. It is now owned and operated by the 6th generation of the Prugh family. Its beautiful chapel with stained glass windows and pipe organ is a lovely place for a service.

Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice will hold it's annual "Tear Soup Grief Group" on October 24th at 11 AM at the Klein Center. This event is "a free workshop to help people understand grief, work through it, and help others. Based on the book Tear Soup: A Recipe for Healing After Loss". Don't forget about the upcoming Miles and Memories 5K Run/Walk hosted by the Southeast Iowa Regional Home Health & Hospice happening on October 10th!

We're excited to see everyone on Saturday, October 10, for the Miles & Memories 5K & 1-Mile Walk benefiting Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice. The forecast is looking beautiful! ☀️

🏁 Event Schedule
Welcome program: 8:45 a.m.
5K start: 9:00 a.m.
1-Mile Stroll: Immediately following the 5K
Start location: Near the Hospice House, by the lake.

⏱️ Race Timing
This year's 5K will not use chip timing so more event proceeds can support Hospice patients and families. Participants who would like personal race time are encouraged to use a watch, fitness tracker, or phone. A finish-line clock will also be available.

🏅 Awards
Awards will be presented to the top three male, female, and youth 5K finishers.

👟 Last Minute Registration
Invite a friend! On-site registration will be available.

☕ Refreshments
Enjoy complimentary coffee and morning beverages from Dunn Brothers, along with snacks prepared by our volunteers.
