Most people have heard of the rotator cuff… but almost nobody talks about the teres minor.
It’s one of the smaller rotator cuff muscles, but it plays a huge role in shoulder stability, rotation, and keeping your shoulder moving the way it’s supposed to.
When this area gets irritated or weak, it can contribute to:
• Pain reaching overhead
• Pain throwing or lifting
• Weakness in the gym
• Tightness in the back of the shoulder
• That “pinching” feeling during workouts
In this video, Dr. Williams breaks down where the teres minor is and why it matters if you want healthy, strong shoulders.
If your shoulder has been bothering you during workouts, golf, pickleball, lifting, or just everyday life, don’t ignore it. Small muscles can create big problems.
