🩺🌟This morning, our staff visited the fantastic team at Open Door Clinic of Alamance County to learn how they’re expanding access to responsive, integrated healthcare for uninsured and underinsured residents, with support from our 2026 Flex Fund grant.

Open Door is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to quality care, regardless of their circumstances. Through primary care, dental services, chronic disease management, preventive screenings, and health education, they're helping community members get the care and support they need.

Their approach extends beyond the clinic walls. By connecting patients with community resources and support services, Open Door helps address many of the challenges that can impact a person's health and well-being.

Open Door is helping ensure more people can access the care and resources they need to thrive, and we're honored to support this important work.

The Goodwill On the Go! Mobile Unit provides free access to a variety of employment and digital support services for community members, including:

Employment services
Career navigation support
Digital literacy training
Résumé and interview assistance
Reliable internet access
Printing and scanning services
And more!

I just want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who helped make my baby shower so incredibly special. ❤️

To my amazing Open Door Clinic team, our wonderful community members, our volunteers, and everyone who took the time to celebrate with me—I am beyond grateful. Your thoughtfulness, kindness, and generosity truly mean more than words can express.
For those who were able to attend, thank you for taking time out of your day to share this special moment with me. For those who were unable to attend but still reached out, sent a gift, or thought of me and my growing family, please know how much that meant. Every gesture, big or small, was felt and deeply appreciated.

One of the greatest blessings of being part of Open Door Clinic is the incredible community that surrounds it. I feel so fortunate to work alongside and serve with such compassionate, supportive, and caring individuals. The love and encouragement you all have shown me is something I will always cherish.
