Midwifery care doesn’t end when the baby is born.

Today, I’m preparing a herbal sitz bath for a mama who just welcomed her baby, while our nurse prepares to visit her at home for postpartum care.

Because mothers deserve to be nurtured, supported, and cared for, too.

🌿 Meet Our Guest Speaker: Emili! 🌿

Emili Louann Butrin is a birth and postpartum doula and community herbalist based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has been supporting families as a certified doula since 2010 and practicing herbalism since 2022. She is also expanding her knowledge through training as an Ayurvedic postpartum doula.

Deeply connected to the feminine form and the natural world, Emili has a passion for honoring the beauty, power, and wisdom found in both.

We are thrilled to welcome Emili as our guest speaker at this Sunday’s Birth Wisdom Circle! 🌸

She’ll be sharing her plant wisdom and exploring several well-known herbs traditionally used to support women throughout pregnancy and the postpartum season.
