🇺🇸 Celebrate Freedom... Including Freedom from Addiction. 🇺🇸
Admissions: 336-227-7417
Holidays like the Fourth of July can bring celebration, but they can also bring challenges for those in recovery. Parties, alcohol, family stress, and changes in routine can all increase the risk of cravings.

If you're in recovery, remember:

⭐ Make a plan before you go.
⭐ Stay connected with your support system.
⭐ Bring a non-alcoholic drink.
⭐ Don't be afraid to leave if you feel uncomfortable.
⭐ Attend a recovery meeting.
⭐ Focus on the people, memories, and experiences—not substances.
⭐ Remember why you chose recovery.

Recovery doesn't mean missing out—it means creating new traditions and celebrating with a clear mind and a hopeful future.

This Independence Day, celebrate the greatest freedom of all: the freedom to choose recovery, one day at a time.

Relapse doesn't happen overnight—it often happens in stages.

Understanding the warning signs can make all the difference in preventing a return to substance use.

-> Emotional Relapse: Bottling up emotions, isolating from others, mood swings, and stepping away from your support system.

-> Mental Relapse: Cravings increase, thoughts of using become more frequent, and the mind begins to minimize the consequences of past substance use.

-> Physical Relapse: The return to substance use, often bringing feelings of guilt, shame, and remorse.

The good news is that recovery is possible at every stage. Recognizing these signs early and reaching out for help can change the outcome.

You don't have to face addiction alone. Support, hope, and healing are available.
