🙌🏼Today we wanted to let you know some exciting news! Our Trauma Oil is back in stock! A fan favorite….why you may ask? BECAUSE IT WORKS

Emily’s husband tore his hamstring due to a softball injury. It was completely black & blue, sore and tight. He did not have any open wounds from the injury so we knew the Trauma Oil was the best solution!

Our Trauma Oil not only significantly reduced the bruising (in just three days) but provided immediate relief from the soreness & tightness. He was back at work the next day! After the Trauma Oil was no longer necessary we switched him to a lighter option, the Dandelion Pain Salve!

And if you've been avoiding downtown because of construction, good news—we once again have access directly to the shop.

I use my mortar & pestle almost every day—grinding herbs for tea, garlic for meals, salts for cooking, and ingredients for ritual work. You'll often find an intention candle burning nearby while I work, adding one more layer of intention and blessing to the process.

The kitchen has always been one of the oldest sacred spaces. It's where we nourish our bodies, create remedies, and transform simple ingredients into something meaningful.

Is anyone else feeling this weather today?

It's gross. It's humid. I can't seem to water my hanging plants enough, and honestly, I can't drink enough water either. 😅

If you're feeling a little more tired than usual, have a headache creeping in, or just feel a bit "off," you're definitely not alone. As storms move in and barometric pressure changes, many people notice fatigue, headaches, joint discomfort, brain fog, or just a general feeling that their body is working a little harder than normal.

On days like this, it may be worth giving yourself a little extra grace. Drink a little more water, cut back on the caffeine and salty snacks if you can, and give your body the support it needs as it adjusts to the changing weather.

I've always been able to tell when rain is coming. Not just from the humidity or the clouds, but from the way the air smells. It has a different scent, a different feeling to it. Call it intuition, call it an overly sensitive nose, but I can usually tell before the first raindrop falls.

Maybe it's years of gardening, maybe it's paying attention to nature, or maybe I'm just a little witchy. 🌿✨

All of the AB family was at the shop today to help me unload a ton of stock. I got to the store and there was no side walk at the store to my left, we had a little sidewalk, and no sidewalk in front of the building. (not to mention there are four woman in a store where there is now a water issue 😣)

BUT BIG shout outs to Lucas and Becca from for helping haul the inventory across this big mess, to Jose for carrying one of the large stock totes and making sure I followed behind so I wouldn't get hurt (also Happy 50th Jose!) and to the 3 gentleman from Burlington Water working in the basement to get the water moving again. (We are burning incense so the odds are in their favor down there, if you know you know)

Road construction is still underway, but we're here and ready to help!

We're always happy to see you in the shop, but we'd like to offer a few alternatives to make shopping a little easier during construction.

🌿 Closed Mondays through July 31st (fingers crossed!).

Order online or call the shop. We'll email your invoice, and once paid, we'll happily bring your order to your car. Simply park on Chestnut Street or Pine Street and give us a call when you arrive.

🌿 Delivery & Shipping Available
Order online at aromaticblessings.net and we'll happily ship your order. We also offer local delivery to Burlington, Rochester, and Waterford, or you can choose pickup at the shop or our St. Francis location.

We know construction can be inconvenient, so we're doing everything we can to make shopping easy. We truly appreciate your support during this dusty season. When it's all finished, downtown Burlington is going to look amazing!

Tonight's kitchen project is one of my favorite kinds of quiet work.

As I harvested rose petals for drying, I noticed I was once again drawn to the same colors: yellow, pink, and red.

Yellow for joy, confidence, and the courage to move forward.

Pink for compassion, healing, self-care, and the reminder that caring for ourselves is part of the healing process.

Red for strength, vitality, and passion.

I also realized I work with roses differently depending on the flower. Larger blooms often become petals, ready to be blended into teas, baths, ritual work, and offerings. Smaller roses are usually left whole, preserving the complete beauty and spirit of the flower until the moment they're needed.

There is something deeply meditative about slowing down enough to notice these little things. The colors we choose. The herbs we reach for. The way our hands naturally work with the plants.

Sometimes the plants are teaching us long before we realize we're listening.

As I sat quietly with these roses tonight, I was reminded that healing, growth, and transformation rarely happen all at once. Sometimes they happen one petal at a time. A lesson I needed to hear this evening. 🌹❤️🪄

Today's garden project is tackling my mint family (Lamiaceae) plants that have completely taken over one of the garden beds. 😂

As much as I love them, they're being moved to the growing boxes where I can keep a little better control over their enthusiasm for spreading.

💚 True Mint (Mentha × piperita) is the darker green plant with hints of purple and smells just like a peppermint patty.

💚 Spearmint (Mentha spicata) smells like chewing gum and is often a better choice for those who struggle with acid reflux.

💚 Catnip (Nepeta cataria) is part of the mint family but not a true mint. Its primary terpene, nepetalactone, is what makes cats go a little wild, while traditionally helping humans relax and unwind.

I'll be harvesting and drying these today while enjoying some much-needed time in the gardens. It's absolutely beautiful outside, and I'm excited to spend the day with my hands in the dirt. 🌿
