As one of only 37 hospitals nationwide to earn this distinction, Lahey is being recognized for its commitment to providing safe, high-quality care and improving outcomes for people living with diabetes.

The designation is awarded through a collaboration between the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and The Leapfrog Group, recognizing hospitals that demonstrate excellence in diabetes care and patient safety.
