Way to go Alamance-Burlington School System! 31 schools have met or exceeded expected academic growth targets during the 2025-2026 school year! What a rebound!

| Today, the state released performance data for the 2025-2026 school year and there is much to celebrate in ABSS. We no longer have a "low-performing" status and we have an increase in school proficiency, growth, and graduation rate!

“This progress didn’t happen by accident, and it didn’t happen overnight,” said Superintendent, Dr. Aaron Fleming. “It is the direct result of our teachers, principals, and support teams putting their heads down and doing the heavy lifting every single day. We set high expectations, backed our educators with the right tools and training, and our students proved what they are capable of achieving.”

The community refrigerator is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is restocked every Thursday. Anyone in need is encouraged to stop by, no questions asked.

You’ll become a go-to resource for our team when it comes to mental & behavioral health insurance, integrated care, and prior authorization questions—while also working closely with payers including Aetna, CHAMPVA, MedCost and TRICARE.
We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, persistent, a strong communicator, and comfortable digging into a tricky insurance issue until they find the answer. 💪
🎓 High school diploma or equivalent required
📚 Associate degree or relevant certification preferred
💼 2+ years of medical billing experience preferred
