Earlier this week, KCCMH staff had the opportunity to attend a learning dinner with Dr. Victor Dabelea, OB/GYN, and his partners from Hologic.

Dr. Dabelea shared information about radiofrequency ablation, a minimally invasive treatment option for uterine fibroids that can help reduce symptoms while avoiding more invasive procedures. He also discussed the potential for bringing this innovative technology to the Eastern Plains in the future.

We appreciate opportunities like these to learn about emerging advances in healthcare and explore new ways to expand services for the communities we serve.
