Sometimes the people who are struggling the most are the ones we would never expect.

They may still show up, laugh, take care of everyone else, and say they’re fine.

This month is a reminder to check in on the people we love, make space for the real answer, and remind them that their presence in this world matters. 💜🩵

IT’S ALMOST TIME!

The Center for Emotional Healing, LLC is preparing to begin school-based therapy services in all four Region 10 schools:

• Harwinton Consolidated School
• Lake Garda Elementary School
• Har-Bur Middle School
• Lewis S. Mills High School

This collaboration will give Region 10 students access to outpatient therapy during the school day, making mental health support more convenient and accessible for local families.

Letters with additional information will be sent home from each school. Families can also visit the Region 10 Public Schools page at www.C4EH.org to learn more and complete the quick online School Counseling Referral Form.

C4EH will also have a table at each school’s upcoming open house. Stop by to meet members of the team, ask questions, pick up information, and learn more about how school based therapy can support Region 10 students and families.

We are incredibly excited to bring accessible mental health care directly into every Region 10 school. We cannot wait to get started!

Welcome back, Judy Wayton, LPC!

We are so excited to welcome Judy back to The Center for Emotional Healing!

Judy was one of our very first therapists, and we are thrilled to have her back on our team.

With more than 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, Judy has a passion for helping children build confidence, resilience, and the emotional skills they need to thrive. She specializes in play therapy, creating a safe and supportive environment where children can express themselves, work through challenges, and develop healthy coping skills.

Judy works with children experiencing anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation and behavioral challenges, trauma, grief, school-related concerns, self-esteem struggles, and family transitions, including divorce and other changes at home.

She is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and provides EMDR therapy for both children and adults to help process trauma and support healing.

Judy believes parents are an essential part of the therapeutic process and partners closely with families to provide guidance, practical strategies, and ongoing support every step of the way.

Judy will be seeing children and their families in our Burlington office with convenient after school appointments available. She accepts most major insurance plans, with Cigna participation currently pending.

Please join us in giving Judy a warm welcome back! We are so grateful to have her back as part of the C4EH family.

Some dreams take years to become reality.

Today, I am incredibly grateful to finally share one of mine.

This fall, The Center for Emotional Healing, LLC will begin providing individual therapy services in every Region 10 school. Expanding access to mental health care and making it easier for students and families to receive support has always been part of the vision for our practice, and I couldn't be more honored that Region 10 has entrusted us with this opportunity.

This has been a long time in the making, and I am so thankful to everyone who helped make it possible. I truly believe this is going to make a meaningful difference for so many students and families.

Thank you, Region 10 School District, for your partnership and trust. We can't wait to get started.

More information about enrollment and scheduling will be coming soon. Stay tuned!
