Walking through the front doors of Burton Health Care Center, visitors soon discover the true definition of "home away from home." Just minutes from Middlefield and Chardon, when you come to visit Burton Health Care, just opening the doors allows the warm country atmosphere to pull you in. The comfortable chairs around the fireplace, the gentle sounds from the grandfather clock, the photo album on

the table with pictures of our families' memories, all contribute to the relaxed feeling of being close to home. Burton Health Care Center also provides a Short Term Therapy Unit. Located within our home, we have dedicated a wing solely for those in need of short term therapy. We can provide post surgical care for many orthopedic procedures such as hip/knee replacements, rotator cuff surgeries and fractures. In addition to general orthopedic care we also provided extended medical care, wound care, and cardio/pulmonary rehabilitation. Our goal is to return patients to their normal living environment as soon as possible.

Today, on National Purple Heart Day, we had the honor of recognizing our two Purple Heart Veterans.
The Purple Heart is more than a medal it tells a story of courage & sacrifice that few will ever fully understand.
A special Thank You to Chaplain Charles for leading today’s meaningful Veterans program and helping us honor these two American heroes.

Please help us welcome our new hairstylist, Tabby, to Burton Health Care Center!
We couldn’t be anymore excited to have Tabby step into her new role.
Tabby has been a hairstylist for 23 years, spending most of her career serving clients throughout Geauga County.
Many of you already know Tabby as one of our amazing CNA’S here at Burton Health Care Center, where she cares for our residents with so much kindness & compassion.
Tabby is happily married with two grown children. When she was asked what she likes most about her new role, she responded “I am truly living my dream by combining my passion for caregiving with my love of hairstyling all while continuing to care for the residents I care so deeply about.”
We are incredibly blessed to have someone with Tabby’s talent, kindness, and heart as part of our Burton Health Care team.

This past week we had the honor of celebrating a group of people who truly make a difference every single day our incredible CNA’s.
Our CNA’s are the heart behind so many special moments. They are the smiles in the hallways, the helping hands, the comforting voices, and the ones who go above and beyond every single day to make sure our residents feel cared for and loved. The dedication and compassion they bring each day is something worth celebrating.
We kicked off the fun by letting our CNA’s show their creative side making tie-dye shirts! We also celebrated our hardworking team with basket raffles, games & lunch as a little way to say “thank you” for all that they do for our residents.
To all our CNA’s THANK YOU your hard work, long days, patience, kindness, and endless dedication never go unnoticed. You make a difference in more ways than you will ever know, and our residents and team are so blessed to have you.

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful day soaking up the sunshine during our outing to the Statue of Guadalupe in Windsor, Ohio.
This visit was extra special because this beautiful property happens to be owned by one of our very own residents here at Burton Health Care. It was such a joy to share in something so meaningful, hearing the memories, and all the love behind such a special place.
A heartfelt Thank You for welcoming us, sharing your beautiful place with us, and treating our residents & staff to a delicious homemade lunch. It was a wonderful day had by all.
