What are your options when it comes to labor positions? 🀰

The right position can help you stay comfortable, work with your body, and keep things moving along. Here are a few to know:

βœ… Supported child's pose with a peanut ball. Leaning forward over the ball takes pressure off your back and helps open up the pelvis, which can feel great during contractions.

βœ… Seated pelvic tilts on a yoga ball. Gentle rocking and tilting keeps your hips mobile and encourages the baby to settle into a good position.

βœ… Side-lying with a peanut ball under your leg. A go-to if you have an epidural, since it opens the pelvis while letting you rest and stay off your feet.

Each position can serve a different purpose, and knowing when and how to use them is an important part of preparing for labor. πŸ’›

Come learn about these positions and more in our Birthing Class!

Your rehab should be built around more than just getting out of pain.

Maybe you want to run again, lift without hesitation, get back to your favorite sport, or simply move through your day without thinking twice about your body.

That goal matters. It helps your PT know what to prioritize, how to progress your exercises, and what progress actually looks like for you.

So, what are you working toward? That is where good rehab starts.

We spend so much of the day sitting without even realizing it. At a desk, in the car, on the couch, at the dinner table... it adds up.

You do not need to turn every break into a workout. A quick walk, standing up, or changing positions can be an easy way to add more movement to your day.

Your body was made to move, so give it more chances toπŸ‘Ÿ

What is your go to way to get moving during a busy day?

Skipping your warm-up is one of the fastest ways to make your body feel β€œoff” during a session.

We see it all the time in the clinic; people jump straight into their workout and wonder why things feel tight, weak, or uncoordinated.

Those first few minutes are your chance to set the tone for how your body is going to perform that day.

Think of it less as an add-on and more as your reset button before training.

Are you giving your body that reset or rushing straight in? πŸ‘‡

You do not start with the hardest exercise. You start where your body is, build control, gain strength, and gradually take on more challenging movements.

Progress is not always about doing more. Sometimes it is about moving better, feeling stronger, and being ready for the next step.

Trust the process. Your starting point is not your finish line.
