I have stage 5 kidney disease.

My kidney function has gradually gotten worse and I am at the point where my treatment options are very limited.

I am currently on the national deceased donor waiting list. The average wait time is five to seven years. However, finding a kidney for a transplant is not easy. Just ask the 100,000+ people on the waiting list for a deceased donor kidney like me. I do not know when I will receive the call. Time is not on my side.

I am looking for a living donor.

I am a husband, father, and grandfather. I am looking forward to spending many more years being my fun-loving, hilarious, and grumpy self!

Please share my story with others you know. You never know who may be able to help me find a donor.
