Before there was a nursing home, there was a vision.

Take a look back at some of the original documents that helped launch what would become KNH, Inc., from the first Board of Directors meeting, the community bond initiative, and the 1966 dedication ceremony.

📸 Then & Now: A Piece of Our History

The first photograph was taken in 1902 and shows the Matherly residence, which once stood on the grounds where KNH, Inc. serves our community today.

More than a century later, the landscape has changed, but the values that make a community strong—home, family, and caring for one another—remain.

This year, KNH, Inc. celebrates 60 Years of Caring. We are honored to continue serving the same community that generations before us called home and to carry that tradition of care into the future.

❤️ HELP US CELEBRATE 60 YEARS OF KNH! ❤️

As we prepare for our 60th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, June 5 (more on that soon), we’re looking for pieces of KNH history to help us tell the story of the last 60 years.

We would love to borrow or receive copies of:
• Old photographs
• Newspaper clippings
• Event programs
• Advertisements
• Historical documents
• Any KNH memorabilia from 1966 to today

We are also searching for:
• A hinged-top display case we could borrow for the celebration
• Information or photos related to the stained glass window that was once in the KNH chapel

Items may be dropped off at the front office or shared with us through Facebook Messenger.

🌟This morning, LMV Administrator Elizabeth Brown presented LMV's Alecia Ion, with Employee of the Month for May. Alecia has been with the company for over 20 years, and currently wears several hats at LMV. But, you can find her home base in the LMV Main Office as the Medical Records clerk. Team members describe Alecia as patient and kind to residents, very organized, carries a lot of duties, quick to help her coworkers, and a great advocate for the residents!💙
