Our Ocean Explorers Club took a little trip to paradise! 🌴💛Whether our imaginations took us to the beautiful waters of Malibu, the sands of Hawaii, or all the way to Fiji, it was all about experiencing the ocean through our senses. 💙🌊
At Silverado, we continue to find meaningful ways to have fun, create connections, and bring new experiences to our residents.

Our community at Calabasas was filled with the spirit of aloha as we came together for a beautiful luau celebration! A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Culinary Team and our Culinary Director, Ruth, for creating such a beautiful display of delicious food for everyone to enjoy. 🌺🍍

There’s nothing better than seeing our residents smiling, moving to the music, and enjoying the company of those around them.🌴

Our community was echoing with laughter, music, and so much fun during our Summer Silverado Dance Party! 🌴 From dancing together to smiles all around, the afternoon was filled with beautiful, fun moments of connection and pure joy! 💗

Silverado Calabasas sits in the Santa Monica Mountains, just off the 101 and close to Woodland Hills, Agoura Hills, and Westlake Village.

Families notice the quiet first. It feels like the countryside without being far from anyone, which matters when you want to visit your mother on a Tuesday and not make a day of it.

Inside, the community is built entirely for memory care. Walking paths indoors and out. Gardening, music, and animals. And a window box outside every resident's door, filled by their family, so that anyone walking past knows exactly who lives there.

Nearly three decades of this work has taught us that people living with memory loss are still people. Still curious, still capable of a good day, still worth knowing.

Our Travel Club took a trip to the Lone Star State: Texas! With our performer Bob's lively Texas storytelling, country charm and a belly full of laughter, our nexus residents was filled with clapping and meaningful moments.

A new chapter begins at Silverado.

This month, we proudly welcomed Wayne Sanner as our new Chief Executive Officer and President, as our founder, Loren Shook, stepped into the role of Executive Chairman and Founder.

For nearly 30 years, Loren led Silverado with one guiding belief: every person deserves to be treated with dignity, purpose, and love. That belief became who we are.

That legacy now moves forward. Wayne brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership and the same commitment to the people at the heart of everything we do.
