On today’s episode of ‘Meet the Apocs’ we got the Boogie 🕺🏽

Once the proud warlord of an army of one, Boogie Nites has found sanctuary with the Apocs. Often seen in his warlord regalia or western drab, Boogie get’s down Wasteland’s many dance floors and is always up for the challenge of a friendly dance battle. If there is music playing, Boogie will be dancing. If not…he may still be dancing.

Originally recruited as a hired gun (or so he thinks) Boogie holds the very official title of Dance Commander. His trusted rubber duckies nested on his shoulders are also high ranking officers.

When not off on a quest, Boogie may be found at the Apoc’s homebase throwing out ruffians and keeping the Apocs many sacred concoctions secret and safe. He doesn’t know much about brewing potions and elixirs. He just knows how they taste. Being the self proclaimed shaman, Boogie is certain that the cure for the Mojave Scourge is sweating it out on the dance floor until you are unconscious. Results and effectiveness have yet to be verified.

It’s a special Labor Day episode of Meet the Apocs! Got a Wasteland boo boo 🤕🤒😪? Well, J Dubbs our resident Medic has the fixins for you 🏥

I currently go by the name J Dubbs, but I wasn’t always called this. I wandered the wastes from the Steel City until I found the Apocs and they took me in and gave me shelter. This was when I decided to give up my old ways and dedicated myself to learning in order to help my new tribe. I studied the writing of the old healers and patent medicine salesmen like Pliney the elder, Galen, Herodicus, John Harvey Kellogg, and John Pemberton. I also study the history and customs of the former and current inhabitants of our wasteland. I’ll gladly share my knowledge with whoever seeks it, rather than risk it being lost forever. This includes information about the archaeology of the area at 10am on Thursday during fellow Apoc, Lambskull’s nature walk.

Old habits die hard and I can still be found succumbing to my more violent past by providing protection when my tribe requires it, or participating in Thunder Dome, Drumskull, and some of the other more dangerous activities that are available in the Wastes.

On today’s episode of Meet the Apocs, we’ve got Twins 👯‍♀️

In the ashes of the Old World, a curse was born and twins emerged from the desert.

Whiplash, a devout healer turned message therapist and bounty hunter, delivering both justice and healing with a whip. And her greatest enemy, her twin, Lilith, obsidian-eyed and mercury-veined, once a scholar of forbidden verses, now a s*x therapist and the Chaos Demon of the Wastes, leading the Serpent Choir with a gospel of fury and forbidden intimacy.

Legend says their war raged so long and so violently that it drew the attention of something ancient… a being older than the Old World itself. To end the bloodshed, it cursed them both. Whiplash bound to the sun, Lilith to the moon. Doomed to draw power from opposite skies, forever missing each other in the changeover, a punishment disguised as mercy, ensuring the sisters could never cross paths again.

Rumor has it that both sisters are running for mayor in the next election. Day Mayor and Night Mayor. With each vowing to reshape the wasteland in their own image, a world where the people of the wastes are forced to live only by sun or only by moon. Finally finding a way to continue the endless war between them.

Cross vs. serpent. Grace vs. domination. Sister vs. sister.

Some in the wasteland whisper it’s all a lie, that Whiplash and Lilith were never two women at all, but one fractured soul, split by trauma and radiation alike. No one’s proven it. No one dares to ask.

Both proud Apocs, born of the same ruin. Come find us… Whiplash by day, Lilith by night. ☀️🌙

On today’s episode of Meet the Apocs, we are shaking things up 🫨 as we introduce our crafty Master alchemist Sunny!

Sunny hails from the overgrown ruins of New York. It was there he studied under the last surviving masters of archaic crafts such as herbalism, mixology, and the highest synthesis of science and art: alchemy.

After surpassing his teachers he set off on a quest to share his alchemical libations with the peoples of the Wastes - for a price of course. It was upon this quest that he came across the Apocs, a tribe full of medics and healers who shared his passion for old world scientific knowledge. Sunny was happy to offer his services to the Apocs, taking on a role as Master Alchemist for the tribe. No longer would they need to scavenge for unrefined spirits and expired elixirs. Now all who seek healing - be it biological, metaphysical, or otherwise - can come to the Apocs to sample the restorative tonics of Apoc Sunny.

When he’s not at work crafting concoctions and peddling potions, Sunny can be found tearing up the dancefloors of Wasteland City.
