When it came to drinking I always hated the lingering feeling of embarrassment & regret that’d hit me the next day…

I was someone who drank to be social, I struggled with saying no & usually gave into peer pressure to drink, even if I didn’t want to.

I felt like I needed to drink when I was socializing because it’s what everyone else was doing, and it’s how I could “let loose” and “have fun”
but there was always a cost…
And it’s one I’m just not willing to pay anymore,
so here’s to my fifth booze-free Fourth of July & no tomorrow 🇺🇸
