They shared a delicious meal, had some great conversation, and as always, there was plenty of laughter. These gatherings provide a meaningful opportunity for residents to build friendships, connect over shared experiences, and strengthen their sense of community.

Gardens memory care neighborhood residents enjoyed a fun mini pizza-making activity! They loved sprinkling cheese on the crust and choosing their favorite toppings. 🍕🍕🍕

Hands-on experiences like this encourage independence, stimulate the senses through textures and aromas, and provide meaningful moments of joy and accomplishment. There's also something empowering about making your own meal—choosing your own toppings, watching it come together, and then enjoying the delicious results. 👨‍🍳❤️

The Garden Tending Club had a wonderful day caring for their beautiful community garden. They love identifying different flowers and were amazed to see that some had grown to nearly 3 feet tall! 🌷🌹🌿🌻🌸

One of the highlights of the day was releasing ladybugs into the flower beds. These helpful little insects naturally protect plants by eating harmful pests, keeping the garden healthy without chemicals. They also added fresh potting soil and planted native California flowers in the second flower bed.

Some of our ladies enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea out on the patio! ☀️🫖 Soaking in the fresh air and sunshine, everyone had a wonderful time relaxing together while enjoying tea, refreshing lemonade, and fresh fruit. Pinkies up, of course!

For older adults, gatherings like this offer a chance to unwind, get some vitamin D, and partake in great conversations. ☕🍋

In Culinary Class, residents made a fresh and delicious pasta salad together! 🥗🍝 Everyone had a wonderful time preparing the ingredients and mixing everything. Plus, there's nothing like taste-testing as you go—quality control is very important, after all.

Hands-on activities like cooking engage the senses, support fine motor skills, and spark creativity in the kitchen. Good food tastes better when you make it with great company! 👩‍🍳💕

Residents and their families had a wonderful time coming together to celebrate Memorial Day! 🇺🇸🍔🌭 The afternoon was filled with delicious food, laughter, and time well spent together. They gathered outside to enjoy a festive meal prepared by the very talented culinary team.

Sending a huge thank you to the amazing Culinary Services Director, Sal, and his incredible team for preparing such a delicious and beautifully presented meal for everyone to enjoy.

The impressive menu included classic cheeseburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, chips, coleslaw, and refreshing watermelon—the perfect way to celebrate together on this special day. Check out this spread!
