Bunny Premo is a lifelong advocate for children,
families, and the emotional worlds that live in the
spaces adults often overlook—the “in betweens”.
A graduate of UC Berkeley and Pacific Oaks College
in Pasadena, California, Bunny is a Marriage and
Family Therapist whose work bridges clinical depth
with lived, relational wisdom. For more than 30
years, she has been an active participant and leader
within the preschool and early childhood education
community, including serving as a Director with
Knowledge Learning Corporation.
Bunny has worked extensively as a Behavior
Specialist, with a particular passion for advocating
for neurodivergent children, ensuring their voices,
needs, and inner experiences are honored rather
than managed. Her commitment to children’s
emotional safety extends into the legal system
through her service as a Child Appointed Special
Advocate (CASA) to the Courts of Ventura County,
California, where she stands beside children
navigating adult-made decisions.
She is a proud member of Zero to Three, the leading
organization dedicated to the healthy development
of infants and toddlers, and was a speaker at the
American Montessori Society Conference (2023,
Boston, MA), where she shared insights on child-
centered development and relational care.
As the owner of Baby Reiki Momma, Bunny integrates
somatic, relational, and attachment-based practices
into early bonding experiences. She is a Certified
Infant Massage Therapist and a presenter with
Pacific Graduate Institute, where her work includes
“The Symbolism of Myth: Healing the Mother–Daughter
Conflict.”
At the heart of all her work is a simple, unwavering
truth: children are wise, emotionally perceptive, and
deeply affected by the choices of the adults who
love them. Bunny’s writing honors children not as
future adults, but as whole humans—right now.
This book is an extension of her life’s work and her
lifelong love of children and their needs—spoken in
a language both children and adults can hear!
