Complicated paperwork shouldn't be the reason people lose their Medicaid coverage. A new federal rule requires many adults who get Medicaid to prove they're working, studying, or volunteering 80 hours a month. People with disabilities are supposed to be exempt, but the rule adds so much paperwork that many could lose coverage anyway—not because they're ineligible, but because they can't keep up with the red tape.

The Autism Support Center at Vinfen and the Family Support Center at Vinfen are both thrilled to congratulate Maddie Raphael (left) on her being awarded the Transformer of the Quarter award. Seen here with Director of Family Support Services, Sethany Griffin, Maddie was recognized for stepping into the role of Autism Support Broker Supervisor and navigating the very tricky landscape that is the Autism Waiver Program. She stepped in and helped to train existing staff, recruit and train new staff, and she is a positive and professional role model for everyone she encounters. We are so lucky to have her on our team! Please join us in congratulating her on a well deserved recognition.

Thank you Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism for supporting the Autism Support Center at Vinfen! We consider ourselves so lucky to be a part of the Autism Community in the Greater Boston metro region and beyond, and we are looking forward to developing additional social, recreational and enrichment programs for our community. This grant will allow us to increase our footprint in the autism community, while bringing people together and promoting networking, socialization, and structure.
