Who can use Urgent Care?
All members of the MIT community can use MIT Health’s Urgent Care Service.
Urgent Care is not open to the general public, but we can see visiting family members or guests of MIT community members and people who are on campus for MIT events.

Urgent Care Hours:
M–F, 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
Weekends, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

MIT Health’s Urgent Care Service is open daily to the MIT community for urgent, but non-life-threatening emergencies.

I’m sick, but I’m not sure whether I need to go to Urgent Care or just rest at home.

Call our 24-hour nurse line at 617-253-4481 and speak to a triage nurse. Describe your symptoms in detail, so the nurse can give you advice about what to do next.

If you have a medical emergency on campus, call the MIT Police at 617-253-1212. If you are not on campus, dial 911.
