March is Colore**al Cancer Awareness Month and Dress in Blue Day is Friday, March 7, 2025.

By wearing blue, you bring awareness to this disease and honor all who are affected by colore**al cancer.

In 2025, an estimated 107,320 new cases of colon cancer and 46,950 new cases of re**al cancer will be diagnosed, and a total of 52,900 deaths will occur in the US.

If you are 45 or older, you should be screened for colore**al cancer.

The Dorchester County Health Department Colon Cancer Screening Program can help eligible residents who need a screening colonoscopy.
