International Overdose Awareness Day — August 31
Today, we remember the lives lost to overdose, support the families and loved ones carrying that loss, and stand beside those who are still fighting for recovery.
Every number represents a person.
A parent. A child. A sibling. A friend. Someone who mattered.
Overdose can happen to anyone, and recovery is possible. By reducing stigma, increasing awareness, carrying naloxone, and connecting people with treatment and support, we can help save lives.
Remember without stigma.
Support without judgment.
Choose hope.
Spread awareness. Save a life.
If you or someone you love is struggling with substance use, reaching out for help can be the first step toward a different tomorrow.
