Our Farm Fresh program in Richwood had another successful week! This program educates local community members on nutrition, diet, and exercise. The participants also get $25 worth of free produce each week to help make healthy meals! We rocked out with Anthony Scott at the Summersville City Pavilion on Friday night! We served popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, and drinks to everyone who attended while jamming along to the music.

We were happy to take part in the Back to School Bash on Friday! We handed out tons of school supplies including notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, and erasers to local families and students.

Our Farmacy program in Craigsville is still marching on! We met up again last week to learn more about diet, nutrition, and exercise. Each week, the community members in the program get $25 worth of fresh produce for free. Thanks to WVU Nicholas County Extension Service for educating our community and Hidden Creek Farm Market for providing the produce!

It's time for another Provider Spotlight! For the month of July, Camden Family Health wants to honor Dr. Luis Perez Torrealba.

"Hello! I am Dr. Perez Torrealba. I am from the northern Virginia area near Washington, D.C. I completed my undergraduate degree in VCU in Richmond, Va as well as a graduate degree at George Mason/ Georgetown University in D.C. I received my dental doctorate degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. I love traveling to new places and also enjoy spending time outdoors!"

The services we are currently providing at the Camden Family Health Dental Dept include the following:

Examinations
Cleanings
Fillings
Extractions
Root canal therapy
Periodontal therapy
Emergency visits
Crowns, dentures, onlays and inlays (will start doing in the near future)

Our Behavioral Health Educators spent this week at Webster County's 4-H camp. They taught each day and even had some peer-led lessons! Big thanks to Lindsay Jordan and Amanda Tonkin Skeens for their hard work!

Camden Family Health will be opening the health center located at Lewis County High School at approximately 1:00pm today July 23rd. We are glad to help the community in any way possible. We will also have vaccines available.
