Shame about your own desire is one of the quietest things that can hollow a person out.

It doesn't announce itself. It just makes you small. Makes you hide. Makes you apologize for things that don't need apologizing.

When's the last time you let yourself enjoy something without immediately feeling guilty about it?

Not rhetorical. Actually think about it.

For a lot of people, especially those carrying trauma, feeling good feels dangerous. Like it's something you have to earn. Or something that can be taken away.

I was on a walk the other day and something hit me so hard I had to stop and just sit with it. 👇

What if you could walk through life with responsive love instead of reactive love?

Here’s the difference — and I think most of us are living in one without even knowing it.

Reactive love comes from wounds.

It’s the love that braces for impact. That reads silence as rejection. That gives too much to avoid abandonment. That explodes or shuts down because something small just touched something old.

It’s not weakness. It’s survival. Most of us learned to love this way because it was the only way available to us at the time.

But reactive love is exhausting.

Responsive love comes from wholeness.

It’s the love that can pause before it reacts. That can say “I feel hurt” instead of “you always do this.” That can hold space for someone else without losing itself. That can give generously — without resentment — because it’s coming from a full place, not a fearful one.

Responsive love isn’t perfect. It doesn’t mean you never get triggered or never say the wrong thing. It means you have enough of a relationship with yourself that you can catch it, name it, and come back to center.

That’s the work. And it is work. But it’s the kind that actually changes things.

So which one are you operating from right now?

→ When someone you love goes quiet, do you reach out from genuine care or from fear of what their silence means?
→ After a disagreement, did you show up as yourself — or did an old wound respond before you even had a chance to?
→ Do you give in your relationships because it fills you up, or because you’re afraid of what happens if you don’t?
→ Can you let someone love you without waiting for the other shoe to drop?

If any of those landed somewhere tender — that’s not a problem. That’s information. And that’s exactly where the real work begins.

This is the work I do every single day — with my clients and within myself. It doesn’t happen overnight. But it does happen.

Last night’s Unlock Your Intuition class was everything. 🔥

A room full of women choosing to stop second-guessing themselves — letting go of fear and stepping into something they’ve had all along. Their own knowing.
