The Bible says, “Train a child up…” This week, I have had the privilege of working with my son and showing him more hands on of what we do. He has helped me transfer people to the crematory this week, one being my cousin, pick up home equipment, move caskets and he went on his first death call. Even though he has been around the business his whole life, we welcome Joshua Bracy to the summer staff. If you see him on a visitation or a service, welcome and encourage him.

“Life is but a mist…a vapor”
As funeral service professionals, we guide families through difficult, life changing circumstances. It is often forgotten that we are subject to the same finalities. On behalf of our owner, Anthony “AJ” Bracy, Jr, the Bracy family, and the entire staff of Collins Funeral Home, we extend our condolences to the Leak family in Chicago. Many of you saw Spencer here in SC walking the streets with Rev. Jesse Jackson’s casket during his SC services. His last post on Facebook is attached above…none of us know the moment or the hour.
