Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Carney’s Family Clinic is seeking an seasoned Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our full-time Primary Care team.
Position: Full-Time LPN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Setting: Primary Care Clinic
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate LPN who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-provider primary care practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, reliable attendance, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Our clinic serves patients ages 2 and older.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Collect, track, and maintain patient history; record any new data
• Take vitals, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, etc.
• Document in the EHR, e-prescribe as appropriate, administer medications and injections, and monitor medication doses
• Change bandages, dressings, as needed
• Prepare lab orders and specimens, and complete accurate data entry in the EHR
• Provide emotional support to patients and patients’ families; listen to concerns and feedback
• Take direction from and report updates to the Nurse Practitioner and overseeing physician
• Report any unusual or drastic changes in patient behavior/symptoms; seek help from superiors when needed
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, sterile, organized, and properly stocked
• Follow state and federal mandated standards and procedures
• Requirements and qualifications:
• Completed state-approved LPN education program; current LPN license to practice
• Valid CPR certification
• Previous clinical and/or healthcare experience.
• Experience with EHR systems and thorough, accurate data entry
• Understanding of healthcare state standards and procedures
• High level of patience, empathy and compassion
• Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
