Mark John Rodak

Mark John Rodak, 69, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026.

Born on January 9, 1957, in Johnstown, PA, he was the son of the late John and Irene (McCormick) Rodak.

Mark was a graduate of Johnstown High School. He went on to complete his Bachelor of Sciences in Mining Engineering from Penn State University. He was the owner and president of Alpine Coal Company, Inc. in Camp Hill, an engineering and mining consulting firm. He was a member of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church, in Harrisburg, where he served on the church council. Mark was a devoted Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed walking his dog, Archie.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Lucas, of Camp Hill, PA, two sons, John R. Rodak (Dustin), of Camp Hill, PA, and Robert D. Rodak (Sarah), of Mechanicsburg, PA, a granddaughter, Sienna, his father-in-law, Bob Lucas, two brothers-in-law, Cloyd and Dwight Wirick, and three sisters-in-law, Bobbi K***z, Helen Cuervo, and Brenda Laughrey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Marge Lucas, and a sister-in-law, Linda McDowell.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, August 10, 2026, in Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church, 5501 Old Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA. A viewing will be held in the church on Monday, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, August 11th, at Grandview Cemetery, 801 Millcreek Rd., Johnstown, PA 15905. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, PA, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mark’s church, Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church, 5501 Old Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109.

William F. Confair

William Freas Confair, 91, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Born on September 5, 1934, in Benton, Pennsylvania, Bill was the son of the late Dr. William Freas Confair and Mary Belle (Patterson) Confair, R.N. He shared nearly 65 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Shirley Adele (Clemens) Confair.

Bill graduated from Berwick High School in 1952. He proudly served four years in the United States Air Force. He served his country during and following the Korean War, spending two and a half years with the Far East Air Command. In recognition of his service, he was awarded the Korean Service Medal and other military honors. After completing his military service, Bill earned his BS degree from Bloomsburg University.

Following graduation, Bill began his career with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry as a statistician while also working part-time as a real estate agent. He later entered the real estate business full time. In 1977, Bill, alongside his wife and business partners, developed and opened the Cumberland Skatium, a year-round ice sports facility in Lower Allen Township that became a beloved community destination. He later returned to Commonwealth service and retired in 2004.

Bill was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Camp Hill. He was also a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of the Carlisle Elks Lodge. An avid boating enthusiast for more than 45 years, Bill found great joy on the water. As a member of the Baltimore Yacht Club he enjoyed years of recreation along the Chesapeake Bay. He was a loyal Penn State football fan who rarely missed cheering on the Nittany Lions.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Dr. Lori Franklin and her husband, Richard, of Midland Park, New Jersey; his son, William E. Confair and his wife, Susan, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; his grandsons, Robert Franklin and Samuel Confair and his wife, Lindsay, along with their daughter, Lily; and his granddaughter, Allison Confair and her wife, Valen Alonso.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Adele (Clemens) Confair; his sister, Joselle Confair; his brothers, Joel Confair and George Confair; and grandson, Andrew Franklin.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church at a later date, which will be updated here when the details are finalized. Interment will follow in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Columbarium.

Isabella Ledebohm, 87, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Letort Spring Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Schraudenbach, Germany on July 21, 1938 to the late Nikolaus and Maria (Fleck) Klein.

Isabella was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the West Shore Elks #2257.

Isabella is survived by her husband of 67 years, Leander Ledebohm; sons, Leander (Anneliese Haut) Ledebohm Jr. and Steven (Jenny Craig) Ledebohm; and grandchildren, Logan and Nikolaus Ledebohm, and Audrey Biggica.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011 with Father Bateman officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service in the funeral home.
