🐾 AOP Pet of the Week: Ripley 🐾

Meet Ripley, Amya MAs sweet and lovable 6-year-old corgi! 🐶💛

Ripley recently got himself into a little trouble after eating something he shouldn’t have, leading to emergency surgery—but this tough pup handled it like a champ. 💪🐾

Through it all, Ripley has stayed true to his sweet, spunky personality. He loves attention, brings smiles wherever he goes, and proves every day just how strong and resilient our pets can be.

We’re so happy to see him on the road to recovery and back to being his happy, tail-wagging self! 🐾✨

Show Ripley some love in the comments! ❤️

🐾 AOP Employee Pet of the Week: Drake! 🐾

Meet Drake — a playful rescue pup with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for Lamb Chop toys! 🧸

Drake’s story started in Texas, where he and his litter of 10 were found as strays with their mom. Thankfully, they were all rescued and adopted through a rescue in Mechanicsburg — and that’s how Drake found his forever home with Autumn PA-C and her family! ❤️

Fun fact: as a puppy, Drake once pulled off the ultimate heist… sneaking onto the counter and devouring TWO whole pieces of pizza 🍕

As we head into April, we recognize Oral Cancer Awareness Month 👄🩺

Oral cancer is more common than many realize, and early detection can make a life-saving difference. This month is dedicated to raising awareness, encouraging prevention, and promoting routine screenings.

Know the signs:
• Persistent mouth sores that don’t heal
• Red or white patches in the mouth
• Lumps, thickening, or rough spots
• Difficulty swallowing or chewing
• Ongoing ear pain or sore throat

Risk factors include:
• To***co use (smoking or chewing)
• Heavy alcohol consumption
• HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
• Excessive sun exposure (lips)

What you can do:
• Stay up to date with routine dental and medical check-ups
• Perform self-exams at home
• Protect your lips with SPF
• Seek evaluation for any symptoms lasting longer than 2 weeks

Our team is here to help with screenings, evaluations, and peace of mind. Early detection saves lives — don’t wait to get checked.

Sleep is not a luxury — it’s a necessity. 🛌💤

This Sleep Awareness Week (March 8-14), take a moment to check in with your sleep habits. Quality sleep helps support your mood, memory, immune system, and overall health.

✨ A few simple sleep tips:
• Stick to a consistent bedtime and wake-up schedule
• Limit screen time before bed
• Create a calm, dark sleep environment
• Avoid caffeine late in the day

Prioritizing rest is one of the best things you can do for your body and mind.

How many hours of sleep did you get last night? 😴🥱.
