A recent study with people who’ve had traumatic experiences found that those who had low compassion for themselves had more severe PTSD symptoms while those who had more self-compassion were less impacted. Another argument for being kind and compassionate toward ourselves ❤️

What an amazing weekend learning from world renowned trauma therapist Dr. Peter Levine. I feel honored to do this healing work and incredibly grateful to those who came before me to show the way.

I love inspirational cards and the one I drew today referenced a volcano. As I read thru the description it said, “It’s hard to be patient when you have a fire in your belly, but you’ll be letting it loose real soon.” This makes sense- carrying a dream/purpose/vision can feel VERY uncomfortable sometimes. Thank God relief is on the way 😚
