Every day, he walks into the shelter — not as just a worker, but as a heart beating for those the world has forgotten.

This cat, with his curly fur and weary eyes, was labeled “unadoptable.” Too old, too different, not cute enough.

But to him, he was perfect.

He pressed his forehead gently to the cat’s, in a quiet moment filled with meaning.

“I see you. You matter. You deserve love.”

And that’s what he does. Every single day.

He gives second chances to those no one notices — hugs to the lonely, care to the broken, hope to the forgotten.

He doesn’t just save cats. He saves stories. He saves hearts.

I thought my life had ended the day my husband died. The loneliness was unbearable, and I drowned myself in alcohol just to silence the pain. Every night, I would drink until my body gave up, hoping the numbness would last until morning.

But then—one day—my little girl, only six years old, walked into my bedroom. With her tiny trembling voice she said, “Mom… I can’t live with you now.”

Her words shattered me. I stared at her in disbelief, tears rushing down my face. “Why are you saying that, my love? What did I do?” I whispered, almost afraid to hear the answer.

Without saying another word, she ran out of the room. A few seconds later, she returned, holding the very bottle that had become my escape. Her innocent eyes, full of disappointment and pain far beyond her years, pierced straight into my soul.

“Read what’s on the back,” she said.

I couldn’t. My hands shook as I pulled her close instead, hugging her as tightly as I could, sobbing into her hair. In that moment, I realized my daughter had become wiser than me. She didn’t need a drunk mother—she needed me.

That was the last day I touched a bottle.

Now, I’m in my 40s, living all alone. But I still keep that bottle, the one my daughter placed in my hands, safely hidden away—not as a reminder of my weakness, but as the reason I found strength. Every time I see it, I hear her tiny voice again, saving me from myself.

I lost my husband. But that day, I almost lost my daughter too. And her love was what pulled me back from the edge.

As long as Demi Moore continues to support and care for Bruce Willis, I will continue to believe in true love.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore share a bond that goes beyond definition. They met in 1987, married shortly after, and became one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples in the 1990s. Their love brought three beautiful daughters into the world: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.

Even after their divorce in 2000, they maintained a strong and genuine connection. Demi has remained by Bruce’s side during his most challenging times, proving that affection can evolve without ever breaking. Their story is a testament to the idea that love may change form, but it can endure through respect and a commitment to family.

Today, Jaymes asked me if he could give a pair of his LeBron 13s to a friend at school because his friends soles were falling off. He said 'why should I have all these nice shoes and my friend has to glue the bottoms on his?' I'm beyond proud of the heart this kid has.

"Today I cried at work. Not because I hate my job, or that it is just too hard (it really is). Today I cried for a child, a child who so innocently talked about food, and the lack of it.

He asked when the lady who puts food in his backpack was coming. It caught me off guard, because it is our guidance counselor and I wasn’t sure what he needed. I told him I wasn’t sure about this week since it is a short week. He told me he was out of it at home and needed more. Of course I asked what was in the bag that he liked so much. I asked if it was the macaroni bowls or the crackers, he said no. I asked if it was the spaghetti o’s, he laughed and told me no that they didn’t have those. Then it happened... he looked at me and said, 'those little o’s (as he made a small circle with his hand), we don’t have those at my house, but when I do have them they give me a warm belly and help me sleep.' I lost it, I cried in front of 20 little people. No kid should ever be hungry, ever.

Well here is where it gets even better, I immediately sent a text to my group, these are the people who are teachers. Remember, hearing people say that we spend all of our money in our classrooms? We spend it to make sure our kids have what they need to succeed, and today we bought food. Yep, we put our money together and made sure this sweet baby had some spaghetti o’s!

I did not write this for anyone to get praise, nobody did it for the praise. I want people to know teachers are humans, we love your kids and want the very best for them. Some days we get frustrated and feel overwhelmed, but today we did what was best for a child. Will it show on a test score? Nope! Do we care? Nope!

Today I’m thankful for all of my people at school, big and little. It takes a village, it really does. It’s a crazy rollercoaster of emotions being a teacher, but today it was worth every tear that fell to see him light up when that bag was put into his backpack! Teachers, keep your heads up YOU ARE making a difference! We are all exhausted, but we push forward each and every day."

We are now starting a food pantry for our students. Students will be able to get food whenever needed! If you would like to help, we are accepting food donations as well as hygiene products! 164 Jacksboro Elementary School Road, Jacksboro, TN 37757. You can put attention FOOD PANTRY 😊

At the tender age of 16, I became the village hero when, after a pop to the shop to grab a loaf of Hovis, I opened the bag to find the bread sliced distressingly uneven, much like the picture below.

I was so appalled and outraged that I ran back to the shop, purchased 2 more bags and bought them home only to find the same problem.

So I did what any 16 year old boy would do. I penned an email to Hovis, making them aware that one of their slicing machines must be faulty and that I expected a full refund, an apology and a tour of the factory, so long as I could bring my Schnau-Tzu.

Hovis replied 3 days later with a full apology, details of where I could claim my refund, and promised a tour of the factory (but for health and safety reasons, regrettably could not allow the dog to enter the factory.)

They thanked me for bringing their manufacturing error to their attention and explained that the reason the bread defied the expected uniformity was, indeed, due to a broken machine.

My mother thought it was rather dull that a 16 year old would be spending his time writing emails to a bread company, but Hovis assured me that without my intervention, the broken machine would've continued to make offensive bread, unnoticed.

“THIS IS CENTRAL FLORIDA:
Pam Brekke's father is on oxygen. She ran into Lowe's and we watched her breakdown in tears when she realized she had just missed the last generator. A total stranger, Ramon Santiago, saw her too. He walked up and insisted she take his. Writing this through tears and with a heart full of pride for my community."

Sam and I was at Target store yesterday The couple near the cart didn't have enough money for their purchase. The lady in the green shirt started to hand things back to the cashier to be able to afford what she had. The lady in the black shirt came out from her lane and said you don't need to return anything I will pay for the whole thing. She pulled out her card and did just that. The lady in the green shirt started to cry. We all just experienced such kindness. What a great story to share amongst all this pain in he world.

"My husband doesn't have a lot, neither of us do. We scrape and scrape to pay bills and put food in our bellies, but after almost 2 years of dating we decided that we couldn't wait anymore, so we didn't.
I wasn't even thinking about rings, I just wanted to marry my best friend, but he wouldn't have it. He scraped up just enough money to buy me two matching rings from Pandora. Sterling silver and CZ to be exact. That's what sits on my ring finger, and I am so in love with them.
While we were purchasing my rings however, another lady that was working there came over to help the lady selling them to us. She said, 'Y'all can you believe that some men get these as engagement rings? How pathetic.' When she said that I watched my now husband's face fall. He already felt bad because he couldn't afford the pear-shaped set that so obviously had my heart and covered my Pinterest page. He already felt like a failure, asking me again and again 'Are you sure you'll be happy with these? Are you sure this is okay?' He was so upset at the idea of not making me happy enough and of me not wanting to marry him because my rings didn't cost enough money or weren't flashy enough.
Old Ariel would have ripped that woman a new one. Mature Ariel said, 'It isn't the ring that matters, it is the love that goes into buying one that is.' We bought the rings and left.
Y'all I would have gotten married to this man if it had been a 25¢ gum ball machine ring. When did our nation fall so far to think the only way a man can truly love a woman is if he buys her $3,000+ jewelry and makes a public decree of his affection with said flashy ring? Sure they are nice, sure the sentiment is wonderful and I'm not trying to cut down any of your experiences, but when did it come to all that? Why do material possessions equate love??
My husband was so afraid of me not wanting him because he couldn't afford a piece of jewelry. He was afraid that the love I have for him would pale because he couldn't afford the wedding set I wanted. The world has made it this way and it is so sad. Ultimately we couldn't wait any longer.. so we eloped. I've never been this happy in my life and I couldn't imagine spending it with anyone else ever. Here I am, Court-House married, $130 ring set, the love of my life by my side and happier than I could ever imagine."
