Hot take: Some of Young Living’s best oils aren’t the ones everyone talks about.

Lemon Myrtle quietly sits on the shelf while people stock up on the usual favorites, but this little bottle has earned its place in my rotation. It has an incredibly bright, crisp scent that’s cleaner and sharper than traditional lemon, and a little goes a long way.

If you’ve never smelled it, don’t let the name fool you. It’s one of those oils that makes people stop and ask, “What is that?”

It’s summer, a season of abundance. A season of warmth and light. In order to make the most of this season, you have to shed last year's emotions. Step one is being willing to let go of everything that no longer serves you. Release essential oil is a great oil to aid you in the process of letting go. Here are the best places to apply Release according to the emotion.

Liver: - Bitterness and Anger are stored in your liver. Apply one drop two times daily over liver while spending five minutes picturing the anger being released. Then go ahead and live with the intention you are meant to.

Lungs: - Grief is stored in the lungs. Apply one drop to your hands, rub together, cup over your nose and take deep breaths. You will feel an immediate response. With each exhale release that hurt. You are made for so much more.

Kidneys: - Fear is the main emotion which is stored in your kidneys. Apply two drops to lower back and envision yourself being brave.

Neck: - We all get stress and the weight of the world on our shoulders. If you struggle with stress and feeling overwhelmed, apply two drops to your neck and shoulder area. This will help you release those heavy burdens.
