When someone stops using substances, the body immediately begins trying to heal itself. While detox timelines can vary depending on the substance, length of use, and overall health, here are some general recovery facts:

🧠 Alcohol: 5–7 days for physical detox symptoms to improve
💊 Opioids: 7–10 days for most acute withdrawal symptoms
⚡ Meth/Stimulants: Several weeks for the brain and energy levels to stabilize
