🤝 A Partnership Built on Faith. A Mission Driven by Recovery. ❤️💚

We are honored to announce our partnership between God First Rehabilitation Services and Holcombe House of Hope!

Together, we are expanding access to recovery support, faith-based encouragement, housing resources, and community connections for individuals and families throughout Central and Southeastern Ohio.

This partnership allows us to extend our reach from Franklin County to Muskingum County, ensuring that more people have access to hope, accountability, and the resources they need to build a new life in recovery.

Recovery was never meant to be walked alone. By joining our strengths, we can serve more communities, remove barriers to care, and help individuals discover that healing is possible.

Together, we are committed to:
🏡 Safe, recovery-focused housing
🙏 Faith-based support and encouragement
🤝 Community partnerships and referrals
❤️ Compassionate care without judgment
🌱 Hope, purpose, and lasting recovery

Whether you’re seeking help for yourself, a loved one, or looking for a trusted referral partner, we’re here to serve.

Serving communities from Franklin County to Muskingum County, Ohio—and growing every day.

🌿 Truthful Tuesday 🌿
Two truths and a lie...can you figure it out?

1️⃣ A person can be making progress in recovery even while still struggling emotionally.

2️⃣ Avoiding every uncomfortable feeling is one of the best ways to protect long-term recovery.

3️⃣ Healthy boundaries can feel uncomfortable at first and still be the right choice.

A huge THANK YOU to Lancaster Reentry for taking the time to visit Holcombe House of Hope! 💚🏡

We truly appreciate the opportunity to share our mission, showcase our recovery housing program, and discuss how we can continue working together to support individuals returning to our communities. Collaboration is one of the most powerful tools we have in helping people build stable, healthy, and purpose-filled lives in recovery.

💚 Introducing Called To Care 💚

We are excited to introduce Called To Care—a community initiative presented by Holcombe House of Hope through The Key To Giving 501(c)(3).

Called To Care was created with one simple mission: to meet people where they are with compassion, dignity, and hope. Whether it’s through community outreach, resource connections, mental health support, recovery advocacy, or acts of kindness, we believe every person deserves to know they are seen, valued, and never alone.

This is more than a program. It’s a movement of people answering the call to serve others with love, empathy, and purpose.

Together, we’ll be creating opportunities to:
💚 Support individuals and families in need
💚 Connect people with recovery and behavioral health resources
💚 Serve our communities through outreach and volunteerism
💚 Build meaningful partnerships
💚 Restore hope—one person, one family, and one community at a time

If you’ve ever felt called to make a difference, there’s a place for you here.

Stay tuned for volunteer opportunities, outreach events, community partnerships, and ways you can help us bring hope to those who need it most.

🌿 Truthful Tuesday: 2 Truths & a Lie – Sober Living Edition 🏡

Think you know sober living? Let's find out!

1️⃣ Having a consistent daily routine can reduce the risk of relapse. ☀️

2️⃣ Living with other people in recovery can provide support, but it also teaches patience, communication, and accountability. 🤝

3️⃣ Most people complete sober living in exactly 90 days because all sober living homes have the same length of stay. 🤔

Which one is the lie? Drop your answer in the comments before you scroll! 👇

⬇️

⬇️

⬇️

The lie is #3! Every sober living residence is different. Length of stay depends on the individual's progress, goals, program expectations, and continued commitment to recovery, not a one-size-fits-all timeline.

✨ Meet Our Resident Advisor, Lacey Kirkendall! ✨

At Holcombe House of Hope, we believe the greatest leaders are those who have walked the journey themselves—and Lacey is a beautiful example of that.

💚 130 days clean and sober.

“I am incredibly grateful for the many chances I’ve been given. I’m a firm believer that you grow through what you go through, and today I choose to live with an attitude of gratitude.

Recovery has taught me the importance of staying connected with my people and surrounding myself with others who are committed to healing and growth. I have plans to earn my CDCA and pursue a degree in Social Work so I can continue helping others find the same hope that was so freely given to me.

I truly believe that staying in the solution and helping the next alcoholic or addict is what keeps me sober. Recovery isn’t a race—you have to crawl before you walk, and walk before you run.

Today, the promises are being fulfilled in my life. As the Big Book says, ‘We are going to know a new happiness and a new freedom.’ I am living proof that those words are true.”

Lacey’s heart for service, her gratitude, and her commitment to helping others make her an incredible part of the Holcombe family. We are honored to have her walking alongside our residents, showing them that recovery is possible—one day at a time.

Please help us welcome and congratulate Lacey on 134 days of recovery! 🎉
