What is a CNA?

" A Certified Nursing Assistant is a healthcare professional who provides basic patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN. They are a vital part of the medical team, acting as the primary daily caregivers for vulnerable patients."

But what does that mean? This means that the CNA's are the eyes and ears. They are the ones that a Resident see's first thing in the morning and the one they see before bed. When a call light is pulled, they are the ones responding to the needs of their Residents. They are usually the first one's to bring attention to issues because they know their people and only want what's best for them. They are the heartbeat of our homes and their hard work does not go unnoticed.
