Does this sound familiar?

☀️ Great day at the pool.

☀️ Great day at camp.

☀️ Great day with friends.

Then...

😭 Crying.

😡 Arguing.

🙄 Attitude.

💥 Full meltdown.

Many parents assume their child is acting out.

Often, they're actually overstimulated.

Summer can be wonderful for kids—but it can also be overwhelming.

If you've ever wondered why your child melts down after fun activities, you're not alone.

We break it down in our latest blog post.

You spent money on the camp.
You planned the fun day.
You made the memories.

So why is your child suddenly melting down in the kitchen over the wrong color cup?

One of the biggest surprises for parents is that kids often fall apart after the fun is over.

Not because they didn't enjoy it.

Because their little nervous systems are overwhelmed.

If your child seems more emotional, reactive, or irritable after busy summer days, there may be more going on than simple bad behavior.

Our newest blog explores why child meltdowns after activities are so common during summer—and what parents can do to help.

If your child suddenly seems more emotional, more irritable, or more defiant now that school is out...

It may not be because they're "misbehaving."

It may be because they're struggling.

Summer gives kids freedom, but it also removes many of the predictable routines that help them feel safe and regulated.

Sometimes the whining, arguing, meltdowns, and sibling fights aren't signs your child needs more consequences.

They're signs your child needs more structure.

If summer has already started feeling harder than you expected, you're not alone.

Our newest blog explains why so many kids struggle emotionally when routines disappear—and what parents can do to help.

For many families, summer actually brings MORE stress:

• disrupted routines
• emotional kids
• increased fighting
• overwhelmed parents
• constant pressure to make summer “special”

If your child’s behavior suddenly seems worse this time of year, there is usually a reason underneath it.

Kids often struggle emotionally when structure disappears — especially anxious, sensitive, or overwhelmed kids (it happens with adults, too).

What looks like “bad behavior” is often stress, dysregulation, or emotional overload.

You are not failing. And you are definitely not the only mom feeling exhausted already.

• more meltdowns
• more fighting

…you are NOT alone.

A lot of kids struggle emotionally when routines disappear — and it often shows up through behavior.

What looks like “acting out” may actually be stress, overstimulation, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm.

And honestly? A lot of moms are barely holding it together this time of year too.
