It has been exactly one year since my last post and one year since I started on this new journey with and has been a whirlwind. Looking back over the last year it has been truly incredible. Busy, very busy, but incredible.
🔢A few things I feel very proud of are the numbers. One of my big drivers for this move professionally was access and in the last year, with the help of our team, we have served 175+ new clients and saw over 1500 visits. Countless pregnancies, deliveries and postpartum journeys completed with me.
📚I have also had the opportunity to expand my knowledge base through continuing education to better serve all pelvic health patients including male patients - mainly prostatectomy pre-hab and post surgery recovery, more extensive bowel dysfunction training and dry needling education.
🤝At the end of last year our market was accepted into the pilot center of excellence program for pelvic health and we now are growing in both marketing and education realms to improve awareness for both referral sources and our own clinicians on how greater serve pelvic health populations.
There was so much that happened this year, but I can feel it in my bones that it is truly just the beginning. This next year, I see us catapulting in our program by providing top notch care from some amazing professionals, more education growth and taking students to help mentor the next generation of pelvic health providers.
None of this would have been possible without the steps I took as OHWHPT, so I want to extend a very grateful thank you to everyone that has been with me along this journey. At this time, I don’t see myself adding new content on this platform but maybe in the future. But keep your eyes out because you never know 😊
