Preparing for birth? Graham Health System is here to support you.
Join our FREE Childbirth Education Class, taught by Crindy Hedges, RN, IBCLC, and CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator.

Did you know?
The U.S. cesarean rate rose to 32.4% in 2024 — but research shows that parents who attend hospital-based childbirth classes are more likely to deliver vaginally.

When should you attend?
We recommend attending one month before your due date —
but if your due date falls at the end of the month, you're welcome to attend the same month you’re due, if your little one has not arrived yet.

All families welcome — you do not have to be a Graham patient to attend.

At Graham Health System, we believe mental health care is an important part of caring for the whole person — mind and body. Our Behavioral Health team provides compassionate support for individuals of all ages through counseling, therapy, medication management, and care coordination.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, or major life changes, our team is here to help you build coping skills, strengthen emotional wellness, and improve your overall quality of life.

As Chastity Swope, Senior Director of Nonclinical Services and Rural Health, shared: “Therapy isn’t just for crises; it’s a proactive way to strengthen mental health, improve relationships, and enhance overall quality of life.”
