SCANXIETY IS REAL.

Waiting for a scan, test result, or follow-up appointment can make it hard to think about anything else.

Ask when results will be available and how they will be delivered. Write down your questions before the visit. Bring someone you trust if that helps. Make a plan for the waiting time, even if the plan is simply to get through one hour at a time.

Today we're honored to share the story of **Denise Sedgwick, an invasive ductal carcinoma survivor.**

For Denise, cancer is part of her story, but it isn't what she wants to be remembered for. Her faith, the way she lives her life, and the impact she can have on others mean so much more.

As Denise shares:

“My hope is that through sharing my experiences I will not be defined by ‘cancer’ but I will shine the light of Jesus in the things I do and say.”

Denise reminds us that a cancer diagnosis doesn't take away who we are, what we believe, or what we have to offer the world.

By sharing her experience, she hopes to encourage others who may be facing their own difficult days.

The FDA has approved two new immunotherapy treatment options this month for certain people with and **al cancer.

📢 Two important updates in colore**al cancer treatment!

The FDA has approved two new immunotherapy treatment options this month for certain people with colon and re**al cancer.

💙 Atezolizumab (Tecentriq) can now be used with chemotherapy after surgery for certain patients with stage III colon cancer.

💙 Dostarlimab (Jemperli) has received accelerated approval for certain patients with locally advanced re**al cancer. For some, immunotherapy may help them avoid surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.
