đź’™ Father's Day isn't the same for everyone. đź’™

Today, we celebrate amazing dads.

But today, we also pause for those whose hearts are carrying a different story.

đź’™ The one grieving the loss of their father.
đź’™ The father grieving the loss of a child.
đź’™ The child who never knew their father.
đź’™ The one whose father was absent, abusive, or unable to love the way they needed.
đź’™ The widow missing the father of her children.
đź’™ The grandfather, uncle, coach, pastor, brother, or friend who stepped in and loved like a father.
đź’™ The man learning to become the father he never had.
đź’™ The families walking through foster care, adoption, estrangement, or broken relationships.

Grief reminds us that love leaves fingerprints on our hearts. Sometimes those fingerprints bring joy. Sometimes they bring tears. Often, they bring both.

One of my favorite promises in Scripture is found in Isaiah 61:3, where God promises to give us "beauty instead of ashes."

He doesn't pretend the ashes aren't there.

He doesn't ask us to ignore the pain.

He gently gathers the ashes of our broken dreams, broken relationships, broken families, and broken hearts... and begins creating something beautiful.

If today is a day of celebration, celebrate with gratitude.

If today is a day of grief, know that your tears are seen.

And if today is somewhere in between, may you remember that our Heavenly Father is the One who "sets the lonely in families" (Psalm 68:6), walks beside the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and never leaves nor forsakes His children (Hebrews 13:5).

Whether you're celebrating, grieving, remembering, or simply trying to make it through today...

May you find beauty in the ashes.

Happy Father's Day to every man who has loved, protected, mentored, guided, encouraged, and reflected the Father's heart to someone else.

May God bless you today. 💙🙏

Today, Mother’s Day carries many emotions.

For some, it is filled with joy, celebration, gratitude, and cherished moments with children, mothers, grandmothers, or beloved fur babies.

For others, today may hold grief, longing, heartache, or the quiet ache of loss—for mothers in heaven, children gone too soon, strained relationships, or dreams that look different than expected.

Wherever your heart finds itself today, know this:

Love leaves an everlasting imprint.

To the mothers nurturing, grieving, remembering, hoping, healing, and loving in all forms—your journey matters.

To those missing your mom, holding onto memories, or honoring her legacy—may her love continue to guide you.

To pet moms, spiritual moms, bonus moms, and those who mother through compassion and care—you are seen too.

Today, we honor every story.
Every tear.
Every smile.
Every memory.
Every prayer.

Happy Mother’s Day to all who carry the heart of a mother. 💗

We’re proud to see our very own Dr. Carling featured as an expert source in this new article from TIME, debunking myths about cortisol, the “stress hormone.”

From debunking “cortisol face” to explaining why balance rather than total elimination is key, his insights are helping to make a real impact in spreading awareness and reducing misinformation. 🧡

Did you know that "just" high blood pressure could actually be an adrenal issue? 🧡🩺
Today is Conn’s Awareness Day, dedicated to a frequently overlooked condition called Primary Aldosteronism. It occurs when an adrenal tumor produces too much aldosterone, a hormone that regulates salt and water balance.

Many people spend years taking multiple blood pressure medications without relief, unaware that their hypertension is actually surgically curable.

The Signs to Watch For:
Resistant high blood pressure (not controlled by standard meds)
Low potassium levels
Chronic fatigue or muscle weakness

You are not alone, and you don’t have to just "live with it." Identifying the root hormonal cause is the first step toward reclaiming your health and potentially eliminating the need for daily medication. Learn more at adrenal.com

Not all high blood pressure is “essential” or without a cause.

Conn’s syndrome, also known as primary hyperaldosteronism, is caused by a small adrenal tumor that produces too much aldosterone. This hormone raises blood pressure and can lower potassium levels, but many patients go undiagnosed for years because symptoms can be mild or mistaken for typical hypertension.

Over time, excess aldosterone can silently damage the heart, blood vessels, kidneys, and brain, increasing the risk of stroke, heart attack, arrhythmias, and kidney failure. Even more concerning, most patients are simply treated with medications that manage blood pressure but do not address the root cause.

Screening is simple and involves basic blood tests. And when diagnosed correctly, many patients can be cured with a short, minimally invasive surgery that removes the tumor and restores normal hormone levels.

If you have high blood pressure, especially at a younger age or that is difficult to control, it may be time to ask if there is an underlying cause.

Did you know that up to 10% of people with resistant high blood pressure actually have an underlying adrenal issue?

Conn’s Syndrome (Primary Aldosteronism) occurs when a small adrenal tumor produces too much aldosterone. This doesn't just raise your blood pressure; it can also drain your potassium and leave you feeling chronically fatigued.

The most important thing to know? For many, this condition is surgically curable. By removing the overactive gland, we can often normalize hormone levels and eliminate the need for blood pressure medications entirely.

Don't just manage the symptoms—address the root cause.
