OASIS Surgery Center is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our Surgery team! This role supports our surgery and pain team by coordinating procedures and ensuring patient information is complete and accurate.

✨ What You’ll Do:

Receive and process physician orders for procedures

Enter and maintain patient demographics, insurance, and medical documentation

Coordinate schedules and communicate with nursing, anesthesia, and physician offices

Answer phones and serve as a liaison between the center and provider offices

Help ensure smooth daily patient flow and prevent overbooking

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

Strong communication and organizational skills

Basic knowledge of medical terminology (or willingness to learn)

Comfort with computers and data entry

Experience in a medical or physician office setting preferred

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

🕒 Schedule:
Full-time | Monday–Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

🎉We are proud to share Dr. Stonestreet has officially completed over 1,000 Mako robotic procedures — including Total Knees, Partial Knees, and Total Hips. For the past 5 years, he has used the Mako Robotic Arm to assist with primary joint replacements, complex primary cases, and even revision surgeries. Over 1,000 procedures and counting — an amazing accomplishment!

North Canton, OH– OASIS Surgery Center has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.

OASIS Surgery Center underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review on 12/14/23 and 12/15/23. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with standards spanning several areas including: emergency management, environment of care, infection prevention and control, leadership, medication management, and rights and responsibilities of the individual.

The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help health care organizations measure, assess and improve performance. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.

“As a healthcare accreditor, The Joint Commission works with healthcare organizations across care settings to inspire safer and higher quality of care that is more equitable and compassionate,” says Ken Grubbs, DNP, MBA, RN, executive vice president of Accreditation and Certification Operations and chief nursing officer, The Joint Commission. “Through collaborating on innovative solutions and evidence-based resources and tools, The Joint Commission helps drive improvement while maintaining accountability through our leading survey methods and standards. Taco 'bout a work anniversary! This week we celebrated two huge milestones here at OASIS.

Dave, our Radiology and Facility Manager, achieved 25 years of employment! Besides Dave's exceptional leadership, his sense of humor makes coming to work an absolute delight. Thank you for keeping our spirits high!

Shannon, our OR Manager, achieved 21 years of employment! Shannon's passion for excellence continues to drive our achievements and transforms challenges into triumphs for our team. Her hard work and commitment are deeply appreciated.

Both managers go above and beyond our expectations, making them wonderful assets to OASIS. Thank you for all the amazing years and many more to come!
