This new moon exacts at 24' 03" of Gemini at 10:54 pm Eastern Time Sunday. I cast a chart for Atlanta, and it has Capricorn rising, putting restrictive Saturn in the limelight. Saturn is currently forming a strong quintile with the Sun & Moon. Quintiles are aspects that are “witchy” or subtle in nature. When Saturn interacts with both the Sun & Moon this way, new realizations about yourself and your desires can occur.

The Barbault Basket is starting to form — a dance between the slowest-moving planets in the sky that will feel intense from now through the end of August. Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and currently Venus are all playing with each other. This is a powerful lunation for personal insight and goals.

Venus forms a tight sextile (harmonious aspect) to Uranus, suggesting a time that is great for independent realizations, thinking, and even makeovers (thinking about getting a new haircut?) Just avoid being a rebel without a cause.

The Sabian Symbol for this lunation is: “Carefree children skating on ice.” Life can seem fine on the surface, but it’s also important to do some deeper work. Interestingly, solutions that allow us to do deeper work often involve letting the inner child out and expressing ourselves creatively. Avoid being shallow or brushing over what’s really bothering you.

It's been a minute since I've introduced myself!
