This new moon occurs at 11:50 am ET Saturday. I cast a chart for Atlanta, and it has Sagittarius rising, putting lucky Jupiter in the spotlight. Jupiter joins the South Node in Leo. The nodes of fate rule karma, and Jupiter is the planet of expansion, luck, and abundance. Time to set new precedents with old karmic relationships. Jupiter is currently forming a sextile with the Sun and Moon, putting an optimistic spin on this lunation.

Mars is forming a strong trine to both Neptune and Saturn. This combination adds a level of psychic energy and self-discipline to the mix. Don’t be afraid to work on a personal goal or project your intuition is guiding you to. This is only amplified with Mars’ sextile to Uranus — putting any eccentricities and willfulness to the forefront.

Mars also opposes Pluto, which signals a time of high energy during this lunation. Avoid getting flustered or frustrated. If you’re feeling antsy about something, put that energy into a workout or physical exertion.

Venus and Uranus also form a weak inconjunction, which means there may be exciting new changes in your relationships. A new friend or lover may suddenly appear in your life. Venus stations retrograde at 8º 29’ of Scorpio at around 3:15 am Eastern Time Saturday. Venus retrograde is the rarest of retrogrades, only retrograding about 7% of the time, or once every 18 months or so.

This year, she begins her retrograde at 8º of Scorpio on October 3rd, and stations direct at 22º Libra on November 13th.

This is the most intense retrograde, as Venus is an inner planet. When she retrogrades, fated events can occur regarding past lovers or people you have deep feelings for. They may resurface in your life. Being reflective on yourself and your roles with love will help you get the most out of this retrograde.

This retrograde is unique in the sense that Venus is retrograding in a part of the Zodiac Wheel called “Via Combusta,” or the ‘Fiery Road,’ between 15º Libra and 15º Scorpio. It’s a part of the zodiac that represents cleansing by fire, confrontation, and irreversible change.

The last time Venus retrograded along this path of the Zodiac was in the Fall of 2018 — so any people or situations you’ve had to deal with may likely surface. Remember, Venus Retrograde symbolizes times to review your relationships, how you love others, and how you love yourself.

This full moon occurs at 12:48 pm Eastern Time on Saturday. I cast a chart for Atlanta, and it has Sagittarius rising, putting lucky Jupiter, ruler of Sagittarius, at the forefront.

Jupiter in Leo is forming a tight sesquiquadrate with Neptune & the Moon (which join each other in Aries). This adds an overall jovial attitude to this lunation, encouraging a general mood of magnanimity.

The Moon in a tight conjunction to Neptune adds a strong intuitive element. Over the next month, between now and the next full moon, you may find yourself getting intuitive hits about any subconscious resistance you may have to changes/starting fresh.

The Sun, Uranus, and Pluto all form a tight trine in their respective air signs. This reflects an intense urge to change and transform.

It also represents great and sudden personal changes that can potentially occur, which encourage you to view life from a different perspective than you once had.
