Today, on National Fentanyl Prevention & Awareness Day, we remember every life lost and stand with every family carrying the weight of that loss.

Many people don't realize they're taking fentanyl. It can be mixed into counterfeit pills or other drugs without a person's knowledge, making even one use incredibly dangerous.

Knowing the signs of an opioid overdose can save a life:
