¡No lo olvide: asigne el PIN para su nueva tarjeta de Texas WIC! 🔐
Si ya recogió su nueva tarjeta de Texas WIC en su cita reciente, ¡está un paso más cerca de actualizaciones de beneficios más rápidas!

**Importante:** Incluso si ya tiene la nueva tarjeta en sus manos, continúe usando su tarjeta actual (la que tiene la rueda de la fortuna) hasta el 30 de Junio de 2026. Guarde su nueva tarjeta en un lugar seguro hasta el 1 de Julio.

Para asegurarse de estar lista para comprar desde el primer día, ¡asigne su PIN ahora mismo y quede lista para Julio! Aquí tiene las dos formas fáciles de hacerlo:

📱 **Opción 1: La aplicación myWIC**

* Toque las tres líneas para abrir el menú.
* Vaya a Manejar tarjeta dentro de la sección de Cuenta.
* Busque el número de tarjeta que comienza con 6117.
* Toque el botón de editar y seleccione Establercer un PIN.

📞 **Opción 2: Por teléfono**

* Llame a la Línea de Gestión de Tarjetas de Texas WIC al 833-966-1382.
* Necesitará el código postal de su dirección postal.
* Necesitará la fecha de nacimiento del padre, madre o tutor.

💡 Consejo rápido:Al elegir su PIN, evite números fáciles de adivinar como "1234", dígitos repetidos como "1111" o fechas de cumpleaños.

Don't Forget: Set Your PIN for Your New Texas WIC Card! 🔐
If you have already picked up your new Texas WIC card at your recent appointment, you are one step closer to faster benefit updates!

Important: Even if you already have the new card in hand, continue using your current card (the one with the Ferris wheel) through June 30, 2026. Keep your new card in a safe place until July 1.

To ensure you're ready to shop on day one, set your PIN now so you're all set for July! Here are the two easy ways to do it:

📱 Option 1: The myWIC App

Tap the three lines for the menu.

Go to Card Management under Account.

Look for the card number starting with 6117.

Tap the edit button and select Manage PIN.

📞 Option 2: By Phone
Call the Texas WIC Card Management Line at 833-966-1382.

You will need the ZIP code from your mailing address.

You will need the date of birth of the parent or guardian.

Quick Tip: When choosing your PIN, avoid easy-to-guess numbers like "1234," repeating digits like "1111," or birthdays.

Mark your calendars—you start swiping the new card on July 1, 2026! 🗓️

The Gun Barrel City WIC office is happy to announce the Summer Feeding program is back!! We will begin distributing meals on June 2nd and the program will end on August 8th. Meals will be handed out between 11:00am - 1:00pm Monday - Friday at the WIC office. Each meal bag will include a breakfast, lunch, and 2 milks per child under 18 years old. Meals picked up on Fridays will include weekend meals as well.
Please bring all children the first time you pick up meals for the summer. At that time, you will receive a card with your name and number of children. Simply bring that card with you for the rest of the summer for meal pick up. Curbside pickup is available!
