For some people, Myofascial Release comes after years of trying to figure out why they still don't feel like themselves.

They've seen doctors.
Had tests and imaging.
Tried medications, exercises, and other treatments.

And sometimes, those things are exactly what they needed. But sometimes, there’s another piece to explore.

Your body is more than bones and muscles. It’s also your nervous system, your experiences, your stress, and the ways you've adapted over time. My goal isn't to replace medical care. It's to offer another way to listen to your body, slow down and create space for healing.

Because sometimes healing isn't about fixing what's wrong. It's about reconnecting with yourself. 🤍

Apparently, I’m a broken record. 😂

But when you spend your days helping people reconnect with their bodies, there are a few things you’re going to hear me say … over and over and over again. Why?

Because sometimes we need to hear something more than once before it really sinks in.

So here are 5 things you’ll probably hear me say in my treatment room. 👇 And if you’ve been a patient of mine, I’m guessing at least one of these sounds VERY familiar. 😅🤍

In honor of National Relaxation Day today, here's a gentle reminder: Healing doesn't always happen by pushing harder.

Did you know fascia responds better to time than force? Myofascial Release uses gentle, sustained pressure to help your body naturally release tension—without forcing tissue to change.

It can help:
✨ Reduce chronic pain and tension
✨ Improve mobility
✨ Calm the nervous system
✨ Support lasting healing

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for your body is slow down, breathe, and give it the space it needs to let go.

This National Relaxation Day, make time for your nervous system — not just your to-do list.

If you're ready to move with less pain and more freedom, I'd love to help. Reach out today to schedule your first appointment. 🤍

Sometimes you come in for one thing … and realize just how connected your whole body really is. 🤍

This sweet patient originally came to me looking for pelvic floor and menstrual relief, but through Myofascial Release, we’ve been able to address tension and discomfort throughout her body.

Her words beautifully capture what I hope every person feels when they walk through my doors: heard, understood, respected and safe. I’m so grateful she trusted me with her care — and even more grateful she shared her experience. 🤍

Sometimes your body doesn’t need MORE. It needs less. 🤍

When your nervous system is overwhelmed or your body is living with chronic tension or pain, adding more exercises, treatments, and “fixes” can become one more source of stress.

Healing isn’t always about what you add.
Sometimes it’s about what you let go of.

Start small. Slow down. Listen to your body. Give it space to respond.
Less forcing. More allowing. 🤍

August is National Breastfeeding Month, and while so much attention naturally goes to your new baby, your body is still recovering too.

Pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, sleepless nights, and constantly caring for another human can take a toll.

If you’re experiencing:
• Leaking or urgency
• Pelvic pressure or heaviness
• Core weakness
• Constipation
• Pain or discomfort with intimacy
• A body that simply doesn’t feel like yours yet
You don’t have to brush it off as “just postpartum.”
Your healing matters too.

So while you’re feeding, holding, rocking, changing, and loving that sweet baby, here’s your reminder to make a little room for taking care of you. 🤍

Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, organ, nerve, and bone in your body—creating one connected system from head to toe.

When it's healthy, your body moves with more ease.

But when fascia becomes restricted from injury, surgery, stress, or repetitive movement, it can contribute to pain, stiffness, limited mobility, and tension.

That's why Myofascial Release focuses on treating the fascia — not just the symptoms.

Sometimes the missing piece isn't another stretch or exercise ... It's restoring the tissue that connects it all. 🤍

Every birth story is unique, and every mom's goals are different.

After a difficult first birth, this sweet mama came to pelvic floor therapy wanting to prepare her body differently for her second. Together, we focused on breathing, pelvic floor relaxation, movement, and tools to help her work with her body during labor.

I'm so thankful she was willing to share her story and encourage other moms who are preparing for birth.

If you're expecting and wondering how pelvic floor therapy can help you feel more confident, prepared, and connected before labor, I'd love to walk alongside you. 🤍

Birth can't always be planned—but you can prepare your body for it. 🤍

I just wrapped up the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Cervical-Thoracic and Rebounding courses, and what an incredible experience it was.

The best way I can describe it is that I left feeling safe, relaxed, and loved. These courses reminded me how powerful healing can be when the body is given the space it needs to unwind, release restrictions, and return to a place of balance. 🤍

So many of us spend our days carrying stress, tension, pain, and the weight of life's challenges. We become so accustomed to it that we forget what it feels like to truly relax and feel at ease in our own bodies.

If you would like to experience more of that in your life, I would be honored to help. Reach out and let's get you on my table. Everyone deserves to feel safe, relaxed and loved in their own body.

Happy National Hydration Day!

Here's your friendly reminder that staying hydrated does more than quench your thirst. Proper hydration (and the right balance of electrolytes) helps support:

💧 Healthy bladder function
💧 Regular bowel movements
💧 Happy fascia and muscles
💧 A pelvic floor that can function at its best

If you're drinking less water because you're worried about leaking, it can actually make bladder symptoms worse.

So grab your water bottle, add some electrolytes if you need them and give your body what it needs today. Your bladder, bowels and pelvic floor will thank you. 🤍
